Proverbio 18

Days of future past

“Turris Fortissima nomen Domini.” Or commonly known as “Proverbio 18” is a set of two drawings by Riccardo Rossi part of  Days of Future Past’ collection.

La Giralda de Sevilla

Based on the original artwork of Don Genaro Pérez de Villa-amil this view of the main tower of the city represent a disruptive urban landscape without people.

Playing along with this conceptual irony  and an accurate work of layering and Icons infill, the author presents a scenario where Orange Trees and creeks fill the streets.

Done with Caran d’Ache pencils on an old lithography bought at a street market “Fortissima” was drawn in 2018 to conceive and build the concept visions for the Orange Republick project in its early stages.

Fortissima Reloaded

After some year from the publication of the first drawing the artwork has been edited again starting from a larger scale print where was possible to define details and elements.
